Do I need a solar battery?
If you use most of your power at night, a battery lifts self-consumption from around 30% to 80% and shortens your payback. If you're home all day, panels alone may be enough.
Should I buy a Tesla Powerwall?
Powerwall is a strong all-rounder with backup built in, but Sungrow and BYD systems often deliver similar usable capacity for less. We quote both so you can compare.
